A few months ago I found a park with a merry-go-round at it. The merry-go-round was old, the paint was chipping off, but my kids absolutely loved it!
You see, like many children of their generation, they had never seen a merry-go-round, let alone experienced one. They couldn’t get enough of it. They stayed on it for almost an hour until we had to leave, and they have asked me to take them back to that park many times, even though it is quite a long drive away.
I am happy we found a park with a merry-go-round. My children finally got to experience something that I loved as a kid. I was even happier to find that many companies are now featuring merry-go-rounds once again. The classic is making a come back, and adults are remembering and children are discovering how much fun a merry-go-round is!
